The other two pics are the control installed with a link to an install video, and a "cut-away" showing the "Internal Adjuster", without the surrouding parts.
When you receive the unit, everything is preset. There will be a ty-wrap holding the unit together.
To install it, first review the YouTube installation demo using the link in the "Middle" picture to the left. (Sorry about the ads...)
As in the video, you will need to adjust the Internal Adjuster to match your bikes condition (or adjust for OEM differences). Not hard, just refer to the install video.
The below scenarios are commonly seen during initial installation — easy fixes …..
Condition #1: I installed it - the throttle is really hard to turn.
Answer: The internal adjuster needs adjustment. Remove the mounting bolt and screw the internal adjuster “out” or “towards the throttle tube” (in the “cut-a-way” picture of the Throttle Control body above, to the “left”) - move it a little at a time, maybe an 1/8 turn. Remount the control and check it again. This process may take a couple tries to get the correct position of the internal adjuster.
Condition #2: I installed it - I can’t get the index wheel to hold the throttle in one spot.
Answer: The internal adjuster needs adjustment. Remove the mounting bolt and screw the internal adjuster “in” or “away from the throttle tube” (in “cut-a-way” picture of the Throttle Control body above, to the “right”) - move it a little at a time, maybe an 1/8 turn. Remount the control and check it again. This process may take a couple tries to get the correct position of the internal adjuster.
Left and below are cut-away layouts that will help in describing adjustments conditions that may be needed:
